Skip Mendler may not be the only Harvard-educated clown to ever get involved in politics, but he is one of the few who will admit it. He is a performing artist, educator, writer and activist, with one wife, one daughter, and a third-degree black belt in aikido. He lives in a small town in Northeastern Pennsylvania, he works online as the Customer Service Guy for a small software company, and he plays a mean kazoo. He is a member of the Religious Society of Friends, the Green Party, and the Kumbaya Liberation Front. His latest performance is called “Ballots, Bullets, and Bagatelles: Stories and More about War, Peace, and Politics.” More information can be found at www.skipmendler.com, www.serioussilliness.com, and elsewhere around the Net.
